Welcome to Iowa!

An "American Heartland" state, Iowa is located in a fertile plain nestled between
two rivers, the Mississippi on the east and the Missouri on the west. Iowa's fertile
soil is used extensively for agriculture, giving us the nickname "The Corn State".
We are also known as "The Hawkeye State", after Chief Black Hawk, who was leader
of the native American Sauk tribe. Our state bird is the Eastern Goldfinch, our state
flower is the Wild Prairie Rose, and the Keokuk Geode is our prized state rock.

You will find a diverse range of meditation and healing practitioners in Iowa and ,
we claim the distinction of being one of the safest US states.

So, it's no surprise that Connecting Consciousness is rapidly growing in Iowa,
supported by statewide zoom calls and in person meetups. Our generous, informed
and heartfelt group warmly welcomes like-minded people.
We are ready to be of service to make the world be a better place, and for all life to
move forward in a positive way.

Connecting Consciousness has given me a relevant and practical spiritual community which generously shares knowledge and resources to heal, and step into a grander and more authentic version of ourselves. I began studying meditation at age 19, and taught through my 20’s. I then pursued the study of art and design, and worked in that field. Meditation, healing practices, and alignment with the Self have remained foundational throughout my life.

I also enjoy movies, reading, cooking, gardening, and Nature. I love my family, friends, animals, and sharing with others who value similar! I fully believe that we are made for this time, feel grateful and blessed to have been led to this organization, and honored to help CC members however I can.
