Welcome to Hawai'i!
Hawai'i is known as the Rainbow State because it's unique climate
frequently produces the conditions necessary for seeing rainbows. The
Hawaiian language, 'Olelo Hawai'i, is the official language of the State of
Hawaii. Native Hawaiian culture is strong, and Native groups have
sought political sovereignty since Hawai'i became the 50th State in 1959.
It is made up of 8 main islands, but also contains over 100 smaller islets that
stretch over an area of 1,500 miles. Hawai'i is unique geologically, being
formed by volcanic activity, and is home to Mauna Loa and Kilauea, both highly
active volcanoes. Hawai'i is one of the most isolated land masses, being located
more than 2,000 miles away from California and the Marquesas Islands, and
over 3,000 miles from Japan.
There are 4 groups of Connecting Consciousness in Hawaii, one each on the
Big Island, Maui, Kaua'i and O'ahu. Each group meets in person once a month,
and there is a state-wide Zoom meeting monthly.
Donna ♦ Hawaii State Coordinator
I was born remembering my connection to Divine Source. Connecting to other realms has always been part of my being. Feeling at home in the water, forests, gardens, and wind, I communicate with all the beings of the elements. As a young child living on the Gulf Coast of Florida, the dolphins would join me as I swam.
I was always a free Spirit, dancing, swimming, and following my passion. My great gift has been the ability to love, understand, mentor, teach and empower others. At the age of 15 I began teaching ballet and enjoyed this art for several years. In the late 1970's I started an interior plant business and over the next 27 years built a successful company also training many single women to own and operate their own service companies. For the last 22 years I have focused on various alternative healing modalities including Reiki, Intuitive Healing, Tibetan Singing Bowls, and Ancient Cranial Work from Tibet. In 2015 I completed my Ph.D studies at the University of Metaphysical Sciences.
My family has lived on Kauai for the past 40 years. My yearly visits have brought me to my permanent home here. I have been following Simon for some time and share his vision for CC and how the organization can be of service to others. I am excited to become a part of the CC team as the Hawaii Coordinator.
