Welcome to Texas!

No matter where you’re from, a wide smile, firm handshake and a big Texas hug welcomes you home – we’re genuinely happy you’re here! There’s something to be said about the balance of God and Patriotism filling our hearts with an infectious pride and joy that rivals any man-made virus!

Texas is the destination for anyone wanting the cohesive, down-home feel of a genuine conversation and sincere life-long friendships. Don’t you worry if you have a hitch in your giddy-up ‘cause we’ll stop our plans to help you get back on track. Texans have a sense of community and constitutional foundation that keeps us grounded and ready for whatever is next. Texans won’t get their feelings hurt if you disagree with our perspective and will even go out of our way to Bless Your Heart if you don’t!

 Karen ♦ Texas State Coordinator

Hi to all in and around the  great state of Texas and the world! ????

My name is Karen Morton, and I am honored to be a part of this CC Texas Volunteer Team and serve as the CC Coordinator for Texas.  I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, as we get familiar with each other and we move forward in the future.

I was born in Houston and have lived in Texas most of my life, except for a short time living in California and Alaska. I missed Texas and am thrilled to be back home. It is true that you can never take Texas out of your heart. ❤️ I graduated high school and went right into nursing school and have been a nurse now for 4 decades. I consider myself to have a healing nature and that has been my career. I am a mother of 2 wonderful daughters and have an adorable grandson and I am so proud of each of them.

I am eager to meet you and grow our membership of like-minded hearts and be a part of helping during this Awakening that is currently in progress.  As my heart goes out to those of us who have lost friends and family during this journey, please know that CC welcomes you with open arms. I look forward to assisting in any way I can to encourage open discussions in a safe place on our Zoom calls as well as at our in-person gatherings. I pray for you daily and wish light and love to each one of you as we continue our path.

These are wonderful times that can be trying times, but I believe there is light around us and we—as a team and as an organization—will be light that shines as a beacon for others.

Again, I want to send encouragement to you, and know that great things are ahead for CC Texas and our world as a whole. ????
